For starters, it’s more than the basic senior portraits that you get for the yearbook. I believe that this time in your life is not only special – it’s monumental. And it’s gonna be gone in the blink of an eye. All the football games, the practices, the coaches and teachers you hate (and love), and the nights at In N Out with friends – will be over really soon.
How do you want to remember this time?
and honestly … who knows what’s going to happen in the world again that could mess up all your plans?!
If there is anything we’ve learned over the last two years, is that you just never know .. so don’t wait – make sure you do something special NOW while you can.
I created this niche of high-end Senior Portraits here in Grovetown Georgia because there was literally nothing like it….and every teenager I talked to hated their pics from the school’s contracted photographer. Yeah, you need that cap and gown shot, but do you want that to be the only professional image, to sum up, your High School experience???
Your high school senior portraits should be about you – who you are right now; who you want the world to see; how you want to be remembered.
And you should also be able to post your images online. Social Media gets a bad rap (sometimes deservingly so) but you AND your parents want to share the images we create together and I want you to. You’ll get shareable images with every print purchase, as well as behind-the-scenes videos and images.
I’ll send you all the info you need to get prepped and ready, the session is about you, remember? So this is just a guideline – it’s all customized based on your comfort level.
We’ll also need to discuss location – and again, this is about YOU. I’m here to guide you but I want to know if you have any ideas already – or any locations you have in mind .. then I help you decide based on the look you’re going for. If you have NO idea (totally common by the way), I suggest taking a look through my blog to see if anything sparks your interest –
Once we get that all settled, I help you decide on what to wear based on location – and I have lots of resources for that as well. I’m a text or email away the entire time – you and/or your Mom are welcome to reach out and ask any questions along the way.
I’ll post a sneak (or two .. or more lol) either that night or the morning after our shoot – I want you to get some instant gratification! And I’m usually way too excited to keep it a secret 🙂
Then we’ll get your in-person ordering session scheduled – which is when I’ll show you and your parents all the final edited images that I’ve chosen for you – and show you options for prints, albums, and announcements. I believe your images should be shared online, but I will ALWAYS want you to print them as well…a digital file isn’t archival – it’s not a physical heirloom that will live on … past your own lifespan. The thing that’s so special about photos is that they’re a moment frozen in time – but when you hold it in your hand and pass it down for generations – that’s an archival heirloom. That’s special and unique. And it’s my job to help you decide what will work best for you and your parents.
This is for the parents and …. I’m going to be real honest with you …
I’m probably one of the highest-priced photographers in Grovetown aka Augusta Area. What I do is way more entailed and customized than most photographers; however, ill always – always work with clients on getting what they want from their senior portrait experience with me. I will always be upfront with you and I won’t hide information … it’s all spelled out very clearly during the booking process. I never want you to feel in the dark or worried.
You’ll receive all the full session pricing when you request a quote – along with loads of info so you’re really clear about it all. My sessions start at $350 and collections begin at $550; however, most clients spend an average of $2000 on their entire experience. I accept payments and I also allow clients to pre-purchase months in advance, so there are various options to go over.
I realize I am not feasible for every family … but I put all of myself into these sessions and pride myself on giving these teenagers far more than just “cool photos”. I’m a Certified Life Coach. so my MAIN goal is to help them feel valued and “seen”…..to help build confidence … to connect with them. I only shoot a limited number of seniors per year – by choice – because in order for me to deliver this type of service, I spend a great deal of time and energy.
And .. if COST is the only thing holding you back, I will say this: Nobody EVER regretted getting beautiful images made of their child. You can’t get this time back and I will work with you to make it happen if you feel I’m the right photographer for you and your child. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
